What equipment do I need to purchase for my child to play?

All registered participants MUST provide there own ball glove and CSA approved helmet. Softball has specific uniform requirements according to CMSA(Please see info on equipment page). Cleats are NOT mandatory but they are recommended especially for older age levels.

How do I volunteer for a position?

Please contact us at Fury@foothillssoftball.ca if you are interested in volunteering. All teams are volunteer run and a variety of positions are available. A Volunteer Application Form is available to print.


In order to volunteer, individuals will need a vulnerable Sectors / criminal record check completed. Please print this letter and bring to your local RCMP office. Steps to complete your criminal records check

Where can I find information on rain-outs?

You can find that information on the Town of Okotoks Website, updated daily at 4:00 PM. Calgary Minor Softball will contact your team coach/manager if league games are cancelled. Information will be dispersed as quickly as possible. Please make sure to have all contact info updated.

Where will I see my money go for my player?

The registration fees cover the cost of field/diamond rentals, team pictures, equipment storage, uniforms, equipment (bats, ball, catchers gear...etc)and field equipment (excluding ball glove, helmet, pants and cleats). These fees help cover the costs accumulated by the organization, and help to make the experience for your child as great as possible.
