  We are excited to welcome Leanna Assels as our Fury Pitching Instructor for this season’s clinics! Leanna brings over six years of pitching instruction experience, helping athletes develop their skills and confidence on the mound. A former NAIA University Pitcher for Trinity International University and SAIT, she combines her high-level playing background with a strong passion for teaching the art of pitching. Leanna’s coaching approach focuses on sound mechanics, mental toughness, and individualized instruction to ensure long-term growth for every athlete. Whether you are just starting out or preparing for the next level, this clinic is designed to evaluate your game.

With over 16 years of experience behind the plate, Sage brings a lifelong passion for softball to every session. From tee-ball to university competition, the game has shaped who she is—and now she’s dedicated to giving young athletes that same positive, inspiring experience. Sage’s approach focuses on building confidence, strength, and smart game awareness through clear, step-by-step instruction. Her clinics are hands-on, energetic, and encouraging, designed to help players understand the “why” behind each skill while developing both their mindset and mechanics. Above all, Sage aims to create an environment where players feel supported, challenged, and proud of their progress on and off the field.
