 All Calgary Minor Softball coaches must have either a complete Level I Softball NCCP or a Calgary Minor Softball Coaches Orientation Number.   Coaches who do not have Softball NCCP Certification must take a "one time only" Orientation Session in order to coach.

Criminal Records Check

Vulnerable Sectors and Criminal Record Checks are required every two years by Foothills Softball. You will provide these to your team manager.   

To obtain a vulnerable sectors and criminal record check, print this page and take into your local RCMP Station.

Please note: You will require two forms of identification when obtaining your Vulnerable Sectors and Criminal Record Check.

Certification

The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is the CAC’s flagship program, and has been identified as a world leader in coach education. All Fury coaches must have either a complete Level I Softball NCCP (On-Going Sport) or a Calgary Minor Softball Coaches Orientation Number.  Coaches who do not have Softball NCCP Certification must take a “one time only” Orientation Session in order to coach. 

Coaches must have a minimum Level I, Community On-Going Sport Softball NCCP complete with their MED (Make Ethical Decisions) in order to participate in Softball Alberta Provincials.
